Match
Summary:
Honduras
shocked the homeside with an early goal by striker David
Suazo. The Latin Americans had, in this interesting and
attractive match, other opportunities to score, but the
Australians had some, too. Although the home team could not
qualify anymore for the quarterfinals, they played with
heart. This fighting spirit was mainly responsible for the
1-1 goal after halftime. But the Hondurans fought back and
Suazo scored his second goal of the match. The Australians
were the better team in the second half, but they could not
score another goal.
